The lion of my heart
@Agios Nikolaos
We had the time of our lives planning Natalie and Adam’s marvelous overseas wedding! The couple flew in from the United States to the beautiful island of Crete to make their love official. We basked in the beauty of the azure in the St Nicolas Bay luxury resort and adored every little bit of it.
Natalie and Adam wanted to focus on “something blue” for their big day, so they opted for a theme that would fit this particular saying. At St Nicolas Bay, we were captivated by the allure of the sea, the pristine blue sky, and the calmness of the beach. All of these elements simply left us breathless!
Apart from sharing their love for traveling (that’s how they met actually!), the couple chose Greece for one other reason – Natalie’s Greek roots. We decided to honor it by incorporating the Greek Stefana into their ceremony. To be more clear, the Stefana are two crowns tied together with a ribbon to symbolize unity, and those who wear it are blessed in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Once they are crowned, they are proclaimed as the king and queen of their home, which they can relish with love and faith.
Another fun element of this wedding planning in Greece was Adam’s passion for warriors! He entered the dining area at the St Nicolas Bay wedding venue with caskets and shields – guests were roaring with laughter at this sight, and we’re really glad that we made this hilarious moment possible.
We want to thank Natalie and Adam for trusting us with their special day at the fabulous St Nicolas Bay resort.
